Behind the camera
I'm Guillaume Dubois, a filmmaker. With STORIES, I film athletes on race day the way you shoot a film: one point of view, one story, and nobody between you and me.
Where STORIES comes from
STORIES is the film production studio I founded (STORIESPROD, Paris). We make films for companies and events. STORIES athletes brings the same cinematic standard to one hour of racing.
I work alone, from briefing to delivery: I follow you on the course, I edit and I grade. You know who you're talking to, and the film keeps a single voice.
HYROX Rome, September 2026
STORIES athletes started with a documentary: two days alongside an athlete at HYROX Rome, from the eve of the race at the Colosseum to the finish line, crossed in 1:16:30.
Two 4K cameras at 50 frames per second, a lavalier mic, then editing and grading: the images on this site come from that shoot.
How I film
No posing, no staging. Before the start we go over your strong stations, I position myself where your race is decided, and I let the effort speak.
In the edit, I look for the rhythm of your race: the wait, the kilometres, the sled, the wall balls, the line. That's the difference between footage and a film.
